Will Samuel is a London-based director and animator. Having graduated from Chelsea College of Art and Design in 2009, he went straight on to work as a graphic designer at the established studio Why Not Associates. It was there where Will bridged the gap between Design and animation. This design driven approach to animation became the foundation of his work to date. Championing experimentation, thoughtfulness, and sophistication, He aims to create work that has a built in discovery that will remain memorable and satisfying. In his 7 years of experience, Will has worked for the likes of Google, Apple, Adidas, Nike, G.E, Ministry of Defence, BBC, Channel 4, Twentieth Century Fox, CNN, and many more. Building a reputation for narrative driven animation and progressive design, whilst winning multiple awards in the process. Will won a D&AD Pencil in 2014 for his animation work on DNA Explainer for the BBC and was also awarded with at the Information is Beautiful showcase for the same piece.
